No matter what role he takes on, Fred Eshragi has a tendency to rise to a leadership position through a combination of vision, hard work, and tenacity.
As he approaches 23 years in transportation, he is thankful to have worked in the public, private, and nonprofit organization – each providing him with a set of unique experience and skills. For most of his career he has been working at the intersection of Transportation and Technology and he believes that our future quality of life depends heavily on the success of those two industries working cooperatively.
He has the benefit of supervising a wide variety of disciplines including engineering, event planning, software development, public relations, and project management.
Eshragi has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and has been working for City of Norwalk as a City Traffic Engineer since 2005. He also is the president of the ITS-CT since 2015.
Under Eshragi’s leadership the ITS-CT chapter was rebranded and invigorated, the membership has grown and the local and regional ITS community have been reconnected.
