David Swallow is the Chief Engineering & Technology Officer with the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, where he has worked since 2001. He is responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of many of the RTC’s projects and initiatives, including transit centers, park-and-rides, bus rapid transit lines, bike facilities and technology solutions. Swallow’s current efforts include implementing high capacity transit lines on key corridors, management of the public bike share system, and integration of mobility on demand technology and services that together will improve transportation options for residents and visitors alike. Swallow has been a resident of Las Vegas for more than 30 years. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Nevada and earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
